Agency Partnerships Manager

Trustpilot is seeking someone with an established record of account development and revenue generation with an interest and passion for digital marketing, eCommerce and innovation. As a Partner Manager at Trustpilot, you will be joining our Agency Partnerships Team in NYC to lead on development of new and existing partners within our referral partner network throughout the US & Canada.  The ideal candidate is someone who leads by example and will collaborate with others to develop relationships externally and internally to facilitate revenue driving activity with Trustpilot’s New Biz, Customer Success, and Marketing Teams.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Identify and research prospective partners, gather client information, understand their needs, and generate interest in working toward mutual goals
  • Develop compelling mutual value proposition that encourage referral partners, SI’s and influencers to invest in promoting the Trustpilot solution
  • Provide sales support to existing and potential partner organizations through training, customer visits, technical and administrative information about our solution, offering demonstrations, and customer price quotes
  • Prospect and develop agency partnerships from an agreed target list
  • Structure and negotiate referral agreements with potential partners
  • Work across Trustpilot teams including sales, marketing, sales operations, and customer success to ensure successful implementation of agency partner deals
  • Be skilled at closing client business both directly via the agencies, and working jointly with the current sales teams when there is division in ownership
  • Build strong relationships with agencies and clients and understand their concerns with a common objective of enhancing their business
  • Exceptional communication skills are a must to maintain good client relationships and develop new ones
  • Prepare presentation materials and conduct ongoing partner education webinars and lunch and learns
  • Good business acumen to identify and tap new opportunities in the form of best fit clients
  • Excellent at prioritizing work according to workload by exhibiting excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and have an ability to meet the targeted revenue goals.

Competencies, Skills & Requirements

  • 2-4 years account/sales experience
  • Background from a media agency, SaaS or adtech preferred
  • Proven demonstration in meeting targets
  • Previous experience in client presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiating
  • Knowledge of ecommerce, digital marketing and social media a plus
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and independently
  • User knowledge in Salesforce
  • Some experience in SaaS offerings preferred
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
